A little bit about Duck in a Bucket Designs...

   Every piece at Duck in a Bucket Designs is individually handmade by Ema Kelly, so no two will be exactly the same, making each one all the more special.  
   Using hot glass techniques, Ema takes inspiration from her surroundings, the outdoors, and even the glass itself, to create her contemporary ranges of homewear, gifts, and jewellery.  She particularly enjoys crafting works that can be displayed back in the environment of where the idea was first conceived.  Her use of bold colours combined with her simple 'no fuss' forms has made her work striking and desirable to an array of clientele.Her designs sway from quirky to elegant, all the time illustrating the tactile fluidity of the material and the vibrancy of colours available.

Where to find me...

26th Feburary '12: The Cambridge Glass Fair, will be my first show of 2012. Come along to get your hands on the new stock of the year!

24th - 25th March '12: SOCK, Loughborough Town Hall.

15th - 17th April '12: The British Craft Trade Fair, Yorkshire Showground, Harrogate.  Stand 167

19th - 22nd July '12: I will be a demonstrating artist in the glass section at Art in Action, Oxfordshire. Make sure you give yourselves at least a whole day to make the most of this wonderful event!
