Me...

Ema Kelly, Emma Kelly

My name is Ema Kelly, but you will find me trading under the name 'Duck in a Bucket Designs'. I am a glass designer and maker based in Leicester, and I specialise in hot glass making techniques.

I became hooked on glass making when I first tried glass blowing in 2003 as part of my Degree, and I've been doing it ever since. Like many other glass artists, I have a fascination for this 'solid liquid'. It has endless possibilities for design, and never fails to inspire me. I am also influenced by my surroundings and mood...which is why you will find t hat a lot of my work has a playful element to it. The colours of glass available to work with are fantastic, and lend themselves very well to my cheerful designs.

I love to create pieces that make people smile and that can brighten up a day.

'Smiles are contagious', so everyone say CHEESE!!!
